Spooky Poison Apple Green Halloween Punch - featured image

A vibrant, neon-green Halloween punch made with green apple juice, lemon-lime soda, and lime sherbet. This easy, no-cook recipe creates a frothy, spooky drink perfect for parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 64 ounces (8 cups) green apple juice
  • 64 ounces (8 cups) lemon-lime soda (Sprite or 7-Up)
  • 2 to 3 quarts (8–12 cups) lime sherbet
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice (optional)
  • Ice cubes
  • Green maraschino cherries (for garnish)
  • Lime slices (for garnish)
  • Edible glitter or green sprinkles (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Chill the green apple juice and lemon-lime soda in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  2. Pour the green apple juice into a large punch bowl. Add fresh lime juice if using, and stir gently to combine.
  3. Slowly pour the lemon-lime soda down the side of the bowl to minimize foaming, then stir gently once or twice.
  4. Fill the punch bowl with ice cubes, filling about one-third to one-half of the bowl.
  5. Add the lime sherbet in chunks, starting with 2 quarts. Let it sit for a minute, then gently stir to create a frothy layer.
  6. Give the punch one final gentle stir and add garnishes such as green maraschino cherries, lime slices, and edible glitter.
  7. Serve immediately to preserve carbonation and texture.

Notes

The sherbet should be soft enough to scoop easily but not completely melted. If the apple juice is too sweet, add more lime juice. Serve in clear cups to see the color. Do not store the finished punch for more than a few hours as the sherbet will melt and the drink will become watery.
