A quick and easy refreshing sangria combining fresh strawberries, lemon lemonade, mint, and crisp white wine, perfect for summer parties and casual gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 750 ml dry white wine (Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio)
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
  • 1 cup natural lemonade
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, loosely packed
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup (or honey/agave syrup to taste)
  • 1 cup sparkling water (optional, for fizz)
  • Lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Rinse and slice 2 cups of fresh strawberries into thin slices. Wash the mint leaves and gently bruise them to release oils without tearing. Slice 2 lemons into thin rounds for garnish and juice half of one lemon for extra brightness.
  2. In a large pitcher, combine 750 ml dry white wine, 1 cup natural lemonade, and 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice. Stir gently to combine.
  3. Add 1/4 cup simple syrup to the pitcher. Taste and adjust sweetness as desired.
  4. Add the sliced strawberries and bruised mint leaves to the pitcher. Stir gently to distribute evenly.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, ideally 4 hours, to allow flavors to meld.
  6. Just before serving, stir in 1 cup sparkling water for a fizzy finish (optional). Garnish with lemon slices.

Notes

Use fresh strawberries for best flavor; frozen berries can be substituted but may affect texture. Do not muddle mint too much to avoid bitterness. Chill sangria for several hours to allow flavors to meld. Add sparkling water just before serving to keep fizz fresh. Adjust sweetness after chilling if needed.
