A quick and easy overnight oats recipe featuring creamy oats soaked overnight, topped with fresh juicy peaches and crunchy honey almond granola for a wholesome and delicious breakfast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats (90g)
  • 1 cup milk of choice (240ml) – whole milk, almond milk, or oat milk
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt (120g), plain or vanilla (dairy-free coconut yogurt optional)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 to 2 medium fresh peaches, sliced
  • ½ cup honey almond granola (50g), store-bought or homemade
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine the oats and chia seeds (if using) in your jar or bowl.
  2. Add milk, Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract. Stir well to incorporate all ingredients. The oats should be fully submerged.
  3. Mix thoroughly, cover, and refrigerate overnight for at least 6 hours, ideally 8–10 hours.
  4. Prepare the peaches just before serving by rinsing and slicing thinly or dicing. Optionally, zest a teaspoon of lemon over the peaches.
  5. Stir the oats and check consistency. Add a splash of milk if too thick.
  6. Top with fresh peaches and honey almond granola.
  7. Serve immediately, optionally drizzling a little extra honey on top.

Notes

Add granola just before serving to keep it crunchy. Use rolled oats for best texture, not instant oats. Soak peaches in lemon water if not ripe to prevent browning. For vegan version, use plant-based milk and yogurt and substitute honey with maple syrup or agave nectar. Leftovers keep up to 3 days refrigerated; add fresh peaches and granola before serving.
