Ingredients

  • Large flour tortillas (10-inch size)
  • Deli-sliced turkey breast (8 ounces)
  • Sharp cheddar cheese, shredded (1 cup)
  • Ranch dressing (1/4 cup)
  • Fresh lettuce leaves (optional)
  • Green onions, thinly sliced (2 tablespoons)
  • Black pepper, freshly ground (to taste)
  • Optional add-ins: sliced avocado, crispy bacon bits, or thin slices of tomato

Instructions

  1. Lay out one large flour tortilla flat on a clean surface. Warm in the microwave for 10-15 seconds if stiff.
  2. Spread about 1 tablespoon of ranch dressing evenly over the tortilla, leaving a 1/2 inch border on all sides.
  3. Layer 2-3 ounces of deli turkey evenly over the ranch dressing.
  4. Sprinkle about 1/4 cup of shredded sharp cheddar cheese over the turkey.
  5. Add a few fresh lettuce leaves and sprinkle thinly sliced green onions on top.
  6. Grind a bit of black pepper over the layers.
  7. Roll the tortilla tightly into a cylinder, avoiding squeezing too hard.
  8. Wrap the rolled tortilla tightly in plastic wrap or parchment paper and refrigerate for at least 10 minutes.
  9. Using a sharp serrated knife, slice the roll-up into 1-inch pinwheels and serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
